Gov. Jon S. Corzine is now nominated for the Political Darwin Awards

We had a reader write in today to ask us why we hadn’t nominated Gov. Jon S. Corzine yet. Well, let’s just be honest and say we just hadn’t realized how worthy this man was. After I did a little reading I came to the conclusion that Gov. Corzine might just have several nominations from just one activity.
First: Gov. Corzine was traveling in a vehicle going 91 mph with flashing lights. It was driven by a N.J. State Trooper. (Little talk about why they were going so fast…)
Second: Corzine wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Smooth Move right? But hey, if we don’t have to follow the speed limit why should we follow the seat belt law right?
Third: Because of public outrage – Corzine is paying his medical bills out of pocket along with the costs of rehabing the Governors Mansion to be wheelchair accessible. Costs are going to be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Corzine was released from the hospital after 18 days, and have about 6 months of rehab to go through. Then after that he will probably start to try to get re-elected of course.
