O.K. I thought I was done Bush Bashing for the day, but I just realized I have MORE stupid Bush sayings!
“I’m a strong proponent of the restoration of the wetlands, for a lot of reasons. There’s a practical reason, though, when it comes to hurricanes: The stronger the wetlands, the more likely the damage of the hurricane.” –George W. Bush, New Orleans, March 1, 2007
“And one thing we want during this war on terror is for people to feel like their life’s moving on, that they’re able to make a living and send their kids to college and put more money on the table.” –George W. Bush, interview on the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, Jan. 16, 2007
“And truth of the matter is, a lot of reports in Washington are never read by anybody. To show you how important this one is, I read it, and our guest read it.” –George W. Bush, on the Baker-Hamilton Report, appearing with British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Washington, D.C., Dec. 7, 2006Â
As long as Bush keeps up this fun stuff I might never have to actually research what a Congressman or Senator is actually up to ever again. I’m afraid that we can’t vote the President in for the Darwin Political Awards though - too obvious?

Whatever, the fact is that we have elected Bush not once but twice. Seriously. We shouldn’t complain.
Actually, we never ELECTED him. He was SELECTED by the Supreme Court.
