The presidential campaigns for Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama

The presidential campaigns for Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama are trading attacks in what’s turning into a feud.
Supporters for the two Democratic presidential hopefuls have been fueling the fire. The feud erupted Wednesday after Hollywood donor David Geffen, who once backed Bill Clinton but now supports his wife’s top rival.
A top Obama backer called Bill and Hillary Clinton liars, and suggested Hillary was arrogant and polarizing.
The Clinton campaign demanded that Obama denounce the comments and return contributions from the backer.
“Somebody who donated to me had said some unflattering things about the Clintons,” Obama said. “Those aren’t opinions that I share or expressed, and I think this is the kind of politics of distraction.”
Clinton sidestepped questions regarding the issue.
“Well I want to run a very positive campaign and I sure don’t want Democrats or the supporters of Democrats engaging in the politics of personal destruction.”
Some observers say this early fighting will only hurt the Democratic Party since the first primary vote is still a year away.
